It Started in the Dark

If I could go back in time, put an arm around my shoulder, and walk with me through the grief I was feeling due to the death of our 16 year old son, I would want to say, “It's going to be okay. Jesus will get you through this, and your joy will return one day. The pain will stop. Don't give up. God has a plan in all of this!" Jesus not only gives us an eternal Hope in Heaven, He gives us hope for each day here on earth. No matter how dark it gets, Jesus is more than enough!

Who do we have giving us these words of encouragement, based on the Truth of Jesus Christ, and the Hope He offers? We need God's Word and prayer, first of all, and then we need the stories of those who have walked a path of pain and healing. Join me on this journey, if you will, and see what starts in the dark can truly end in the light when we're looking to Jesus.
