About the Author

Author and Award Winning Filmmaker Richard Martini has written and/or directed 9 indie films. A former free lance journalist for Variety, Inc.Com, Premiere and other magazines, a graduate of the Masters of Professional Writing Program at USC this is his debut non-fiction book on a topic that's been haunting him since the death of a soul mate. After a dream vision of visiting his friend in the Great Beyond, Martini went on a literary quest to find out what the prevailing science and philosophical opinions on the Afterlife are. He journeys into Tibetan Philosophy, makes documentaries in Tibet and India, and eventually is introduced to the work of the Newton Institute, founded by renowned author and hypnotherapist Dr. Michael Newton ("Journey of Souls"). Dr. Newton (the hypnotherapist who "discovered" this phenomenon) could not have found a better promoter of his work than Rich Martini; not that the good doctor would have ever thought of such a thing.

Vol. 2 is just as informative as vol. 1.. as Richard Martini is fond of saying: "I may not be a scientist; but I know one."and Rich seems to know a LOT of people! This book contains many, many, many examples of evidential personal experience of the after life. The author cites an example each from a varied group of unrelated people; scientists.. to celebs.. to just regular you and me types. He uses his own skepticism to pose questions about these reports..
