What to do with a clothsline

What to do with all your quilting scraps??? This is always a big question. You can grab some clothesline and "wrap it up" and sew it together and create all kinds of things!

The book has projects for purses, covered baskets, placemats, vases and bowels of all shapes and sizes. As with all good books, the beginning starts at the beginning and shows you how to wrap the fabric around the clothesline and then sew it into a round plate. It can be used as a hot pad and brighten up a table. There are over 15 pages of how-to so you will be an expert by the time you finish reading this section.

Nine sections of projects cover the subjects mentioned above. Each project shows a colored photo of the finished item and gives the size. The materials list tells you how much clothesline and fabric you will need while the how-to gives any extra details needed that were not mentioned in the basic section.

A section on embellishments and a gallery of finished projects wind up the book. 15 projects should keep you busy and once you master these, you can venture out on your own and create even more. Have fun using up your scraps!
