If you want different, this is it!  What a trip! Dan is an above

If you want different, this is it!  What a trip! Dan is an above average dude trying to do the right thing and getting screwed for his efforts. I can relate to some degree. There is what you are and what others want you to be and Dan struggles with that. But, is he over the top, is he wrong or right? Very clever how the author lets you decide whether you side with Dan or not.  I liked him most of the time, but other times he annoyed me. Excellent writing!

You have this guy, Dan, trying to live right, only to get burned

You have this guy, Dan, trying to live right, only to get burned b: his family, wife (ex-wife), co-workers (works at phone company I can relate), neighbors, teachers and so on. Just a normal day for most of us. But Dan, he doesnt' put up with it, he's old school in a medicated world. It's a sad situation that deals with many of lifes peeves, but it's realistic and funny like life is sometimes. I didn't like Dan so much at first, but I like him at the end. Really a good short read for a lazy afternoon. Enjoy, sort of.

    Odd

This is an interesting, easy to follow story. I like the idea behind it. The story line gives the reader the idea that something good will eventuallly happen to Dan. It does not. Nothing gets better for him and then the book just ends at a low point. It is well written but it seems like the author loses interest in writing the book so just cuts it off.
