The purpose of this book is to help you understand your dog, their natural instincts and why they behave the way they do. I assure you, what you see as naughty behaviour is normal behaviour for the dog. Dogs are loyal, caring creatures. To understand the troubles we have with our dogs today, we first need to look at our own behaviour as the cause of many of the problems we face with our canine companions. I have tried to make this book as clear and to the point as I can in the hope that you have a better understanding of your dog, and how to train him.
People have always tended to have a more disciplined approach to training their dogs, which tends to lead to a life time of fearful aggression depending on temperament, and many dogs are continually seen as "badly behaved" simply because we don't understand how to speak their language. My aim is to really reach out to help them understand how they can communicate with and understand their dogs better, so that they can live happier lives together. The book I have created is a compact, comprehensive guide to training & understanding, full of examples and illustrations.
