Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Sheree van Vreede
Remember the old man who bumped his head when he went to bed? Well, he's back, and this time he is sneezy and growing and doing the Lindy with his wife Cindy. This is a hard-bound, durable book that can be taken anywhere. The illustrations are fun and lively.

My little one is now six, and we have been re reading this book for about a year and a half now. I never knew all the verses to the it's raining, it's pouring ... the old man is snoring ... the song we used to sing as children, so each time we pull it out. I ask should we read today or sing today. Great fun.

I did not like the rhymes in this book at all. They bored my children to death. The only thing worthwhile here are a few pictures, but the narrative is dull and uninspired.
