Larry Alexander is retired and lives in Houston. He wrote this story many years ago when his son made a constant plea for "one more story" at nap or bedtime. He has many other Adrian stories to tell.

This is a book intended for young children and it is meant to be read to them. The message for a young child is to look closely at the things that give so much fear and learn to recognize them for what they are. Then the fear will disappear. Adrian's love for his mother and his desire to protect her when he thought that she was in danger, allowed him to fight his fears and climb those dreaded steps to the attic. As Larry Alexander's first book of a series of books, this story is a great launching point for him. This book is a fine addition to the library of any parent or grandparent of a small child. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
