Over the forty-plus year span of his law enforcement career, Ken Goddard has been a deputy sheriff/criminalist, crime scene investigator, police crime lab director, and instructor at numerous state, federal and international law enforcement academies on evidence and crime scene investigation techniques. He is the author of a text on crime scene investigation as well as ten CSI-based fictional novels, including the NY Times best selling novel BALEFIRE, and has been an occasional technical advisor for the writers of the TV shows CSI and CSI-MIAMI.
