Meet the Author

Bob LeVitus is the author of over 40 books, including Dr. Mac: The OS X Files, or, How to Become a Mac OS X Power User, and Mac OS X For Dummies for Wiley, and The Little iTunes Book and The Little iDVD Book for Peachpit Press. He's been a newspaper columnist for the Houston Chronicle for five years penning the popular "Dr. Mac" column every Friday for their award-winning Business section, and has been published in most magazines with the word "Mac" in their title. He's known for his expertise, trademark humorous style, and ability to translate "techie" jargon into usable and fun advice for regular folks.

Dennis R. Cohen has written or contributed to many books, including Macworld Mac OS X Bible, Macworld Microsoft Office 2001 Bible, Macworld AppleWorks 6 Bible, AppleWorks 6 for Dummies, and Mac Secrets, 6th Edition, as well as being the technical editor for over 70 titles in just the past few years. A software developer for over 20 years and a Mac developer since 1984, he brings a history not only with the Mac, but also with other platforms (including Unix). Dennis lives in Sunnyvale, CA.
