I have loved reading these books with my 8 year old daughter. They are funny and very enlightening to say the least. We share this time together and have enjoyed the things that these two girls get into. Rebeka can see some of herself in each girl and she gets a kick out of that. I look forward to reading the other books about these two. I know we will enjoy them together.

I bought my daughter her first Ivy&Bean book when she was 8. She doesn't like to read much, and yet she couldn't put these down. Now she is 12 and she still enjoys reading the new one that comes out and adds it to her collection! ;) She says they are fun and silly!

My 7 year old wasn't really into reading until we purchased this set, she couldn't put them down. I was even catching her reading under the covers with a flash light at bed time! she can't wait to get more Ivy and Bean stories to fill up her book shelf.

I have two girls, 5 and 7, and we checked the first two books from the library. After being immersed in the books for a few days I knew this was the type of book we'd love for our own book shelf and it's been a great purchase. My 5 year old seldom listens to chapter book readings from myself to my 7 year old during our bedtime routine, but the illustrations were enough to grab her attention. I often see my 7 year old re-reading the book by herself, and my 5 year old peering through the pages and asking how to read certain titles and sentences to figure out exactly what the pictures are about. This is really one of my favorite kids' chapter series and I believe it's one of my daughters', also. I look forward to reading what Ivy and Bean are up to, also...absolutely!

I bought Ivy and Bean for my 7 year old granddaughter for Christmas. She cannot put them down! Better than electronic games, her favorite gift! These books spark a child's imagination!

This series has been a favorite for every child I have given it to. The Treasure Box gift set is a more economical way to purchase it and the kids love the box.

It is hard to find books for my little book worm, but these fit perfectly. She can't stop talking about the two friends and she has flown through the three books in a week and a half. I have to go and buy the rest.

On a whim I got this set for my reluctant 8yr old reader. She instantly fell in love with, and related to Ivy. By chapter two she was hooked. I introducedthe book by readingthe first chapter out loud toher and her 6yr old sister. My 8 yearld took the nookfrom me after that and readthe nexttwo chapters to her sister and I. I'm so glad to have found such a great series of books that shecan read and enjoy!
