    A comprehensive guide to iLife '09. The book is a better resource to reference then the software HELP information. The included CD assists the reader with the learning process.

    iLife '09 includes five software programs. The programs are interactive, so learning one feature in one program carries over into the other programs. Much of this is based on the strong capabilities of the underlying Mac OS X operating system.

    The CD included with the book ensures that the reader is understanding the material being viewed. One often has greater difficulty in learning from books which simply provide a written description and screen shots.

    As I do not use each of these programs on a regular basis, I have not read the entire contents of the book. Nor is it necessary to read the entire book to find the particular piece of information you require for the task at hand.

    While working with the content of the CD, at times I was unable to readily follow along with the written content. Reference is made to a particular task bar task icon that I had not previously read about, but was probably better described in another part of the book.

    I found the content of the book to be well organized. I appreciate the type size and font as it is easy to read with my older eyes. The visual screen shots aid in following the content being covered.

    Overall, I am quite pleased with this book and have found it useful. It is a good value relative to the content provided.

    iWork09

    This is the best book I have found on how to use iWork. The only problem I had was I do not like some features of their Spreadsheet and found their Word Processing lacked some features I now have using NeoOffice. Also the directions would be difficult to follow for someone starting out who had little experience in using a computer.
