    Very fun book!

So, this isn't the same as Fables but this series is so much fun. Seeing the antics of Jack as he searches for the next jackpot or conquest is at times laugh out loud funny. The connection to the main Fables story is still present but not a necessary read (but its clearly a great read). Here we're given a great look into Golden Boughs and also more of Jack's history. I probably sound like a broken record but its fun. Also, Willingham does a very good job building the supporting cast, especially the Pathetic Fallacy. Overall, a very fun book in a series that doesn't seem necessary until I read it.
