Given the popularity, hilarity, and just plain fun of Jacob Two-Two Meets the Hooded Fang, we can be forgiven for expecting great things of this sequel. Jacob Two-Two is eight, now, still saying everything twice to make sure he gets heard. And now he has friends his own age. The dialogue doesn't sound eight, though, and the adults sound dumber than ever. It's a little like The Enormous Egg, but it's a disappointing journey, with Jacob Two-Two running away from Toronto with his friend, Dippy the dinosaur.
