I'm glad I ignored the reviews that said this book was geared for a teen audience, because it is not. I would have to say this is one of the best Amish stories I've read (and I read all of them).
If you're an Amish romance fan like me then you will love this book.
Highly recommended.

Starts a life as we are familiar with. Then i am taken to a life that reminds me of hallmark commercials. Sweet, tendar and can make a tear come to your eye.

This is the kind of book you don't come across very often, but when you do, you savor it because it is just that good.
Jacob and Lizzie are very expressive with their feelings and fears, as well as their hopes that the mess they got themselves into will all work out.
This author is one of my favorites, and I think this her best book so far.
Can't wait for book two in the series.

This story had everything I was looking for. The Amish lifestyle is portrayed with excellence and the romance was touching and real. Great job by Samantha Bayarr - I look for ward to a sequel!

I wasn't sure what to expect from this story since it was my first Amish romance, but I'm glad I took a chance because it was so good.
I will read more by this author while I wait for book two in this series.

I loved how this story had such a simple flow but told a real story about real issues.
When ABBY discovers her real father may be living just down the road from where they are staying, she sets off on an adventure to meet him. What she doesn't know are the many secrets that her mother never shared with her--the same secrets that will turn her life upside down.
JACOB YODER is an Amish widower, trying to raise his ten-year-old son, when his past shows up on his doorstep unexpectedly, threatening to change his life forever.

This story, however heartwarming, was very repetitive and predictable.

I have been looking for the perfect Amish Romance and this one is it! IT has the best story line I have read by far and reminds me of the Harrison Ford movie, The Witness in some ways. I love how fast paced it is and how intense every moment feels. Pick it up!
