Meet the Author

Michael Fauske was born to the Wisconsin hills and coulees portrayed in this story. His studies at the university centered on history and political science. His love of prophecy began with his conversion to the Messiah, and his deep thirst for prophecy has never ceased. It is his desire to reach as many with the message of redemption, for he believes the apocalypse is at the door. May God find honor in this book.

The time for peace is over. Prepare for Hell on Earth.

The first part of the Tribulation is over, but Toast and his fellow believers have just entered the second part. Life for the believers is about to get much worse for they are entering the time of Jacob’s Trouble. This is the period before the prophesied coming of Christ. This is also the period in which the beast has full reign.

Robert Heilenberg has taken control of the world which, for all intents and purposes, has failed. His system of marking his believers for the ability to buy and sell has completely crashed, sending even non-believers into a world of scavenging for survival.

This follow up to Michael Fauske’s Without a Mark answers the questions of faith and survival raised in the first novel. Jacob’s Trouble answers the questions of who survives? Who wins the battle of Armageddon? What happens when Christ returns?

If you liked the story behind Fauske’s first book, you will be sucked into Jacob’s Trouble. This second installment is a tighter, faster paced, thrill ride that delivers an often brutal look at what could come to pass.
