Editorial Reviews

Amazon.com - Sue Cooper
I just finished reading "Jagged", and I don't know when a book has touched me more than this one. The expressions, emotions and command of the language are better than most adults could articulate, and this author is not even 15 yet! I recommend this book to everyone, especially anyone dealing with any form of mental illness. This is only the first book of a truly gifted, prolific writer, and I look forward to reading all of her future books.

Meet the Author

Rhiannon Hennessey is nearly fifteen years old, in ninth grade, and has been writing poetry since she was in the fourth grade. Throughout her life, she has dealt with adversity, stigma, and feeling "different" from everyone else in school and society. Though her struggles have been many, she has learned that her "differences" are also the very gifts that inspire her to write her feelings--her life--in verse. This compilation of her poems paints a portrait of her own young life and depicts how she has been both inspired and distressed by, not only her own trials and tribulations, but also by those of the people who have touched her life. It is her expressed hope that her poetry might touch others, and help them realize that they are not alone.
