I'm a fan of both western and historical romances, so imagine how excited I was to find this book combined both. This is a sweet story of a young woman seeking her independence and striking out on her own. Throwing off the shackles of a domineering fiance and father, Ellora strikes out on her own. Turning her back on her upper class background, she joins the working class in a small western town. One thing I loved were the details of the times. Attention given to dress, manners and language of the times drew me right into the story. Jake is a hunky guy, the perfect hero, looking for love, not just sex. This is a sweet romance that made me sigh. I love this series and am looking forward to the next book. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. I am so loving this series. I have a hard time putting it down. If it wasnt for the fact that I have to sleep I could breeze thru these with no problem. Once again I cant believe that a western had pulled me in and made me feel like I was there. I have a few friends that are not PRN readers so I can get them into reading this series. They will be just as hooked as me when they read the first one.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
