Jane Hammond has had numerous solo exhibitions worldwide, including U.S. museums the Honolulu Academy of Art, the Cincinnati Museum of Art, and the Orlando Museum of Art. Her work is in the permanent collections of more than 25 museums including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, the Art Institute of Chicago, the San Francisco Museum of Art, and the Whitney Museum of American Art. She is represented in New York by Galerie Lelong.
John Ashbery was born in 1927 and educated at Harvard and Columbia Univeristies. He stands as one of the best known and most important poets of the 20th century. Among the many prizes he has won for his wrting are the Pulitzer Prize, the National Book Award, and the National Book Critics Circle Award. He has also been named a Guggenheim Fellow and a MacArthur Fellow. Ashbery has been a chancellor of the Academy of poets and also a teacher at Bard college, New York.
