Dear Reader,
Do you remember me? I am now Jane Rochester these past 15 years. You may have known me as the obstinate though obscure English governess, Jane Eyre. I peer back through the linear scope of time and am compelled to record fully the first years of my marriage to Edward Fairfax Rochester. There was a short time when my fate and fitness for the role of friend, nurse and wife was suspect.—Jane Rochester
Author Bio: Kimberly A. Bennett was educated at Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho. She now makes her home in Tigard, Oregon where she lives with her husband and two children. Besides working on her next novel she is a consulting editor and artist.

Jane Eyre has got to be one of my favorite books of all time, so, naturally I was interested in what happens to Jane and Edward and everyone else. The book was very well done, being written 153 years later by a different person. There are little details here and there that make the characters seem more real, such as Adele's friends trying to immitate her accent (that is EXACTLY what twelve-year-old girls would do!) and Jane remembering the many things she had to conviscate from her students at Lowood. ^_^ I was a bit put off by the large number of typos and editing mistakes, but if you ignore that fault, Jane Rochester is a great book.

It was wonderful to hear Jane's voice again. This book has left impressions on my memory that will always be there, just like in Jane Eyre. I will read and re-read this story. There are periods of suspense and passion, intrigue and joy. I loved it.
