Attraction flares between a British teacher and student in Japan and a mistrustful American serviceman.

Things are not what they seem when a beautiful woman shows up in an area that is being staked out. A case of mistaken identity threatens her life until until the young man risks his cover to save her. He mistrusts her and believes her involved with a gun running gang even as he continues to seek her company. The case is cracked when he is forced to use information from her obtained in an unorthdox manner to save her life.
