"I love this book and I love how Elle Casey intertwines her books. We see Tarin and Scarlett later in Rebel. I just love Elle's personality and sense of humor. Her main characters are spunky and awesome. People I'd totally be friends with. I just hate when the books end."

5 star Review Jax by J.L. Perry Once I started this book I did not want to put down. I was riveted from the first to the last page. I saw the book trailer a while ago and was so excited for this release. I love a rebellious bad boy who has tattoos and piercings so I knew that Jaxson Albright would surely tempt me and he did. Friends to lovers can work so well, but in other cases friendships can be shattered and that is the fear that both Jax and Candice have. They have been in love with the other for as long as they can remember and in are terrified to take the next step in case it destroys their relationship. Circumstances tear these two apart but when they finally come back to each other, their feelings haven’t changed. Jax was an emotional roller-coaster, filled with angst and heartache. Having said that there were certainly humorous moments to the story; a book that can make you laugh and cry is a great book in my opinion. I hated how Jax hurt Candice, she didn’t deserve it but in his eyes he was protecting her, the emotions were real and Ms. Perry has woven a tale that will keep you engrossed, on the edge of your seat as the love affair that is Jax and Candice plays out. I really enjoy her style of writing, her characters are never one dimensional and I highly recommend you read her if you haven’t already.

It's taken me a while to write this review because I really am struggling to find the words to do it justice, this book blew me away. I started reading it and there was no way I was stopping it was a marathon no tea breaks read...... This is not just a story it's a journey. Jax comes from a privileged background but it's not the life he wants, his parents show him no love or affection and the only person who has ever believed in him is his best friend Candice. But one night lines are crossed and that changes everything for Jax and Candice. Jax soon regrets his actions that night but his letter explaining all of this comes back unopened. Years later fate steps in will true love win or is the past to hurtful to forget...... What else can I tell you, well this book will make you laugh it will make you cry and it will have you believing in fate. It's a friends to lovers and a second chance romance all rolled into one. Wonderfully written book that will have you lost for words at the end and I mean that in the best possible way. Another 5 Star read from a great author
