Jazz Gold

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Campbell
While the title Jazz Gold is quite a stretch, this double-disc set highlights several different varieties of the genre that encompass big-band leader Woody Herman, legendary bop saxophonist Charlie Parker, soul-jazz organist Jimmy Smith and Latin jazz showman and percussionist Tito Puente. While the sound quality varies throughout, this is a decent primer for the novice at a bargain bin price.
