The music on Jazz Project is rather erratic, ranging from easy listening ballads, poppish pieces, and music designed for potential airplay to two Afro-Cuban jazz gems "Pacifico" and "Cohension" that show what the CD could have been. The personnel changes from track to track with much of the music being unfortunately rather lightweight, other than the two mentioned pieces which include such players as saxophonists Justo Almario and David Sanchez, pianist Edsel Gomez, and percussionists Alex Acuna and Giovanni Hidalgo. He is certainly capable of better.
