This is a must have book for every loved baby/child! I read it to all of my sons and it was very speical at the time and has become one of my personal favorites... right next to the DR Suess 'Wherever you go' that they get for college graduation at our house!

Way back when I was little my mother used to read me this book every night. Then as I got older we stopped reading the book, but instead just read the lines 'I love you forever.. etc.' Now as I get older looking back it makes me remember how much I love my mother & miss her very much.

I read this book to my kids when they were little. I'll now read it to my first little granddaughter. It still brings a tear to my eye.

I first heard this story told on mother's day at my church. The priest gathered all the children to the front of the church and read it to the children. The psalmist actually sang the song the mother sings to her son. It was so touching and relevant to all parents everywhere. What a truly beautiful story.

My son and daughter-in-law surprised us on Christmas Eve this past year that they were expecting. When they got married three years ago, I found this book and tucked it away. I was able to return the surprise by wrapping up it up and placing it among the other gifts under the tree. I think we were all in tears by the time I finished reading to them. It was a very special Christmas!
