Meet the Author

The author is a friend of long standing whose knowledge of adventure, woodcraft, folkways, firearms and edged weapons I much admire. Now, I learn, he can also tell a story and spin a very interesting yarn. His storyline is set in a time in early American history and illustrates what was best in our character as a new nation. That is, head-on, forthright, directness and honesty so lacking in recent history.

Having spent a great deal of time as a special warfare operator surviving in some of the toughest and nastiest spots on the planet, I have a special appreciation of the author's grasp of the skills and mental toughness required to survive in hostile situations when all odds are against a good outcome.

This is an excellent and most of all, entertaining and authentic story. My congratulations to the author. I'm looking forward to his next tale.
