Overview

Hopelessly romantic, curvaceous schoolteacher Jennifer White had always dreamed of a fairy tale wedding. When her banker fiancé Seth proposes to her, Jen thinks that dreams really do come true. When Seth reveals himself as a homicidal con artist and dumps her in the heart of the Serengeti during their vacation, she figures that the fairy tales lied. A lot.

Cyeon Rarh is an alpha of an ancient shapeshifter pride. Usually he just gets annoyed when humans carelessly leave stuff in his territory. Cameras, outdoor gear, and occasionally...people. Yeah, don't they know humans taste terrible? But there's something intriguing about the sweet Jen with her silky skin, plump breasts and generous hips. His lust burns hot the moment he sees her and claiming her as his own seems to be the most logical thing to do. Once she stops freaking out, of course.

Editorial Reviews

The Romance Studio - Xion X
This was a great story. Ms. Lee certainly kept me entertained throughout the story. If this is a sampling of her writing, I would love to read more of her books. In my opinion, she gives voice to a problem many women suffer from, the desire to make a man fit the mold they want them in, no matter how many danger signals they give off, just because they see themselves as less than perfect or deserving of better.
Night Owl Reviews - Laurie J
"I relished reading this short story. Jennifer learns some hard lessons, meets adversity head-on, and still retains a genuine innocence that astounds. The banter between herself and Cyeon is funny and arousing at the same time. The author knows how to write hot, descriptive, passionate sex scenes that enthrall and are as scorching as the relentless heat of the Serengeti."

Meet the Author

Lizzie Lynn Lee was a guitarist, receptionist, executive assistant, tarot reader, boutique owner, and graphic artist before she discovered that writing is her dream job. The advantage is that she can do it in her pajamas and socks.

She’s an incurable chatterbox, heavy metal aficionado, bookworm, digital enthusiast, and a night owl since most of her stories were done in the wee hours of the morning because of her caffeine-induced insomnia.

These days, she still plays her guitar whenever she gets bored staring at her computer screen or plotting the most elaborate scheme for world domination. Fortunately, she has a chronically short attention span.

I liked it was a quick read 109 pages and what was so awesome is that I read it in the Barnes and Noble store so I didn't have to pay $2.99 for 109 pages. I must admit I wanted more but the book was engaging and held my attention for tue entire book.

SHORT STORY...STUNTED CHARACTERS....TERRIBLE EXECUTION. How many normal woman would be okay being dumped in the serengetti and then after we are rescued would give ourselves to a perfect stranger who just happens to shift into a lion? Really?

There is a lot about this book I just don't get. Why would the female lead agree to marry a man that won't even tell her where he lives? She meets the male lead and dosen't seem to shocked that he is a lion shifter then lets him strip her down and give her a bath....she still thinks she's engaged. The lead male basically sees her being dumped from a car and decides to keep her. He had no idea if she was sane or not since she was unconscience at the time. The book idea was an interesting concept.....the written work wasn't so interesting.
