Meet the Author

After his success with his first children’s book, The Boy Who Cried Ug!, Jeremy began using his drawings to inspire children to create and write their own stories. Author and illustrator Jeremy Cole knows the struggle children have today with reading, as he himself struggled as a child with reading. Cole grew up in Circleville, Ohio. He attended the University of Rio Grande in Rio Grande, Ohio. There he earned his Bachelor in Elementary Education with a concentration in Middle School Mathematics. He also holds a MA in educational Leadership and a Specialist Degree in Administration Supervision. Jeremy began his 20 years of teaching in Baltimore, Maryland and has currently taught for the last 17 years in Paulding County, Georgia. “Teaching elementary students keeps me young. You have to be up on the latest technology and current trends,” said Cole.
Jeremy enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. They often times seem to be his inspiration for his next idea, character, or story line. They are very proud of his accomplishments.
