James F. McCloy captures the pure mystery of this creature. In a book that is an easy read and filled from cover to cover with factual information and testimonials, he covers all 'sides' and gives explinations on what could be. The further that I got into the book I kept hoping that it would not end. It is a great book to clear you mind of all else and focus strickly on the topic. I have not found many books that do that, but this is one of them. James F. McCloy's style of writing perfectly matches the topic at hand. I highly recommend this title to any reader. You can tell even without looking at the bibliography pages, that he put so much time and research into this peice. Trust me, it shows!!! I can't wait to read 'Phantom of the Pines'.

This is a pretty good book with a lot of facts on the Jersey Devil. Being a New Jersey citazin myself, I think this book tells a lot. It may be a little scary to younger kids, however. Otherwise, it is recommended for people who crave the truth, and even who hunt for it. (like me)
