    Very dated and old looking

    This is one of the most dated and old looking decorating books I've seen. When I opened it, I wondered if it was a reprint from 1992 or something.

    If you love "Primitive" Country style , you'll love this!

    Gorgeous pictures; lots of ideas on striking the perfect mix/staging of items for the authentic look and feel of "yesteryear"! This lavish layout has inspired me to begin the search for a certain few major Primitive pieces, to achieve exactly the look and feel I am after. Deriving beauty from their extreme simplicity, "Primitive" Country homes are not for everyone - but if it's what speaks to you, try this book! This reference book is finding a permanent home in my collection and is inspiring sections of my "Dream Room" file for MY future Country Home! Highly recommended!

    Great Pictures of classic country interiors

    I thought this was an excellent book that covers all the various styles of country decorating, from cottage to rustic to expert re-creations of period interiors. Lots of tips on painting and collecting to create that special country feel.
