This book is a lot fun. It skewers all the usual suspects as it explores the ramifications of the miraculous uncovering of a sacred relic in the Californian desert. A rollicking good yarn develops as we follow various characters in their attempts to secure the toolbox - the sale price rises through the roof, the media goes into over-drive and the hapless hero of the story, a weary put-upon journalist, comes close to losing his marbles as he tries to extricate himself from the mess. But all is not as it seems. Could the toolbox be a fake or are there altogether more miraculous proceedings afoot?

O.K. So this is not your average funny book - it's hilarious. It's also not about Jesus - well, not much . Seriously though , folks, I suggest this book for anyone who is tired of ploughing through all that meaningful, soul-searching, relationship mush on Oprah's list. This is the one that will have you belly laughing out loud and will also make you think. I don't know what about - but you will think. Even if it's just 'how does anyone come up with this ' A must, a gem and a breath of fresh air.

A rattling good yarn with highly -charged incidents, both funny and serious, on every page. Almost unputdownable....

Truly funny. Loved the Madison character. Jesus' Tool Box would make a great movie!

Frantic adventures in the land of televangelism, Los Angeles, and the tabloid press. Anyone looking for salvation...try Church. Anyone in search of sly humor with a serious spine -a great read.

With a plot full of twists and surprises I couldn't put it down. Jesus' Toolbox is hysterically funny. Can't wait for the sequel!

Wonderful! A treat to read something original, funny and satirical about Jesus and the culture of greed. Highly recommended for Xmas presents!

Laughs galore in a funny parable / allegory / mahem filled story with dead on metaphors & clever plotting.
