Meet the Author

Please Note that the picture is of Ed Ziegler, NOT Don Canaan.

Ed Ziegler has been writing columns and commentaries about terrorists and world terrorism for nearly a decade. "Many are fanatic Islamists," he said, "that have clearly and repeatedly stated that their goal is to implement Islamic Shariah law in every country around the globe by any and all means, including force. The Islamists want Islam to dominate the world.

"I believe truth and knowledge are needed to be able to make intelligent decisions to protect our freedom. My articles draw on multiple, highly credible sources."

Ziegler, a former Brooklyn, NY and Holliston, Mass. resident holds a bachelor of science degree from Adelphi University in Garden City, NY. Married to Helene Fish Ziegler, for the past 54 years, they now inhabit the one place on Earth that has been referred by many as "an adult Disneyland"; The Villages in central Florida.

As newly-weds of 20 and 24 years respectively, Helene and Ed, who were introduced by a mutual friend, decided to tour the U.S. for seven weeks by car, taking the southern route to California and the northern route home to Brooklyn.

Ed Ziegler, formerly in sales management, has owned a sporting goods store, has been a marketing consultant and has owned a recruiting agency. He says "I am a concerned citizen who believes in a free society where it is a privilege and a duty to be involved in community, business and religious organizations."
