Overview

Mike is a middle aged amateur scientist who accidentally discovers the transportation system used by angelic beings since the beginning of time. The story begins with his attempting to create a new material which will offer zero resistant to electrical current at or above room temperature. He figures a discovery such as that would gain him some respect in the scientific community. This is pretty much every man’s basic need – gaining respect from society for having accomplished something noteworthy. Mike stumbles unto something else though, which is very high speed travel, based on riding the electro magnetic waves just like the angelic beings do. God allows him this insight because the end of this age is nearing and God wants to increase the speed with which the gospel message gets out, and God also reveals his plan to rescue rather than replace the missionaries who are currently dying for the cause. Mike understands that there isn’t enough time left for new ones to grow up and replace the ones who are martyred. Mike and his wife Liz use the new transportation device for their own personal fun until their own son and daughter-in-law are in urgent need of it.
