About the Author

Murray S. Fradin is a recently retired history instructor from the New York City School System. He holds both B.A. and M.A. degrees in history with a specialization in Middle Eastern studies. Mr. Fradin has received numerous honors and awards in his field. He resides in New York City with his wife and young son and is currently working on a new book. Mr. Fradin has recently brought out a new, revised edition of his book, Jihad: The Mahdi Rebellion in the Sudan with powerful new illustrations, a special update to recent events, new maps and a fully documented footnote section at the back of the book.
