I have been practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu for about 7 years. This book provides simple moves such as the lockdown the Twister or the calf Crank that even black belts are surprised by. This book will really help if you already have the basics down to even improve your offense or defensive game

Some of the techniques are for a more advanced, regularly practicing student of 3 years or more, however his stories are entertaining, however biased, and I have learned a few tricks that have helped the development of my half-guard. There are better books out there, but they are twice the price. The photos and word descriptions are good. The techniques taught are very much sport jiujitsu and don't seem to be very street practical except perhaps to a very advanced practicioner. Personally I have been practicing jiujitsu for about 1.5 years and am accomplished in other fighting systems. The book is useful, but one dimentional.

Horrible book, author spends more time hyping himself up than anything else. The moves are good, however I wouldn't recommend the book.
