Don't waste your time. NO FIGHTS!!! And I don't count Wonder Woman's one punch knockout. It has some interesting sub plots otherwise I would have given it a 1. But this is the kind of book you buy to see how Earth 1 villains stack up against Earth 2 super heroes. Not happening here. I agree with Sean, 20 more pages for character development and the art is only so so. Amazing that this same guy wrote the fantastic All Star Superman.

    more from this reviewer

Decent story that seemed to be missing pieces!

I'm not a huge Morrison fan but have liked some of his stuff. This was just middle of the road. The story seemed like it could have used another 20 pages to flesh out the story. Quitely's art was good but his faces are really ugly at times. Overall, more details of Earth 2 would have made for a better book!

    One of Morrison's best!

Despite the general criticism of the format and price for this title, it reigns supreme as one of Morrison's best JLA stories and best stories in general. The format allows the writer and artist team to do things they would not likely be allowed in a standard, non-vertigo DCU book, and Quitely's artwork is incredible. Hopefully we'll see more stories of this alternate Earth in the future.
