    Batman doing his thing

    This has a couple short stories in it but I got it for the main one. It has some good and some bad, but I love the idea of Batman planning for the worse. Superman has been taken over before(Batman:Hush)and the dark knight knew he would have to figure out a way to stop him and all super heros if they were ever turned. I love how batman planned for everything, except for his plans to be stolen. Great idea. Good Book.

    One of the best JLA titles.

    Not only is it a JLA title, it is a Batman title. Setting him apart from the other heroes not only by his lack of power, but of how he views they powers that his comrades wield. It is also good catch-up literature for the new DCU film Justice League:Doom.

    The fight within the fight

    Batman's Paranoia is what makes him, him. This is a great book to talk about. It shows the real conflict behind the JLA and character flaws of all the members.

    Great look at the Batman's persona.

    If you haven't already learned about the plot of this graphic novel, I suggest stop reading this review, pick up the book, and find out for yourself. I feel this is one of those stories that is a lot better if you don't know the plot going in. For everybody else, here's the story. Ra's al Ghul, in his never-ending quest to rid the earth of the human plague (as he thinks of it), has figured out a plan to destroy civilization. Of course, there is one annoyance to take care of: the JLA. He distracts Batman by going straight for the heart, and then systematically takes out the Justice League, one-by-one. The question is, how does he know how to do it? What does Batman have to do with this scheme? This is a great look at the psychology of Batman and his relationship to the other JLA members. You can see the shock in his face when he realizes what Ra's is doing. Defnitely pick this up if you want a good action read with some insight. In addition to the main plotline, there are a few unrelated stories used as bookends (presumably to ensure that all JLA stories are included in the volumes). They have nothing to do with the main plot, although one story is poignant in the sense that it shows how close the team used to be (compared to now). Definitely a good one to pick up.

    Great Sucessor to the Grant Morrison Era

    Batman has always considered his greatest enemy to be the Joker or eco-terrorist Ra¿s al Ghul. The JLA already faced the Joker when the Clown Prince of Crime joined the Injustice Gang 1.0 during ¿Rock of Ages¿. Now, it¿s the Demon¿s Head¿s turn to take yet another whack at the Dark Knight as well as his allies this time, using protocols to incapacitate the JLA while he enacts his latest plan to return the world to the paradise it once was. But the situation becomes further complicated when it is learned that the architect of these anti-JLA files is none other than the World¿s Greatest Detective himself! Can the JLA survive against Ra¿s al Ghul and his League of Assassins and if they do, forgive the Batman for what they consider the ultimate treason? All this and more in ¿Tower of Babel¿!

    Batman's True Power

    Truthfully, I see the Tower of Babel as proof of Batmans power. He is the only member of the Justice League with no "Meta-human" abilities. Just goes to show who the most powerful of the Justice League is. An excellent title, and incredibly well executed.

    Who can you trust?

    Batman's traps for his team mates were pretty brutal, and in some cases, could have resulted in death, which contradicts one of the central tenents of the Batman legend. Other than that, it was a very dramatic story and very thought provoking about the nature of relationships.

    It is paranoia if they are really out to get you.

    I read this in it's orignal format what a tale. It seem's that Batman has kept notes on his fellow teammates! when Ra'al gul strikes he takes out almost all of the jla using Batmans methods when this mess is resolved Batman is voted out.
