Meet the Author

Paul Goldman worked for the Department of Prints and Drawings at the British Museum for 23 years. He is the author of Victorian Illustrated Books 1850-1870 (1994) and Victorian Illustration - The Pre-Raphaelites, The Idyllic School and the High Victorians (1996 and 2004). He is now an independent scholar and is currently an Associate Fellow at the Institute of English Studies, part of the School of Advanced Study of the University of London.
