Meet the Author

I love to tell a story, but after all is said and done, I need help with editing. Friends are great, but are not editors. Besides I live out of country, semi-retired, with forgetfulness knocking on my door. What you see are my first attemps at self publishing.
I promise better work to come.

Translated from chinese by an uneducated frenchman?

This is a very interesting novel, but if it has been proofread, the proofreader was either drunk or is completely illiterate in the english language. There is no page in the book without numerous language and grammar errors. The reader must reread sentences to make sense of it. The author and reader are not well served by this sloppy pulishing.

    Weak

The writting is too "over the top" to be believeable. The plot is interesting, and in the hands of a good writer might make a good book. But this is not it.

The mistakes in grammar, syntax, and basic editing almost make the book unreadable.

    Good Book

A little too graphic and gruesome for my taste, but kept me hooked until the end.

    Cannot finish!

Because of poor grammar, lack of proper punctuation, and run-on sentences, I had to stop reading. Story seemed promising, but the way it was written was too annoying! I stopped at page 23.

    Very hard to read

It was as if the author poured his words into a blender. The grammar and text errors were so bad that it made it difficult to follow what was generally a good story. In one instance, the wrong name of a character was inserted. I had to re-read the sentence to figure out who he was talking about. I also took offense at his description of a character as acting like a "retard". Not very PC.

The most frustrating ebook I've ever read. NOT reccomended.

I don't out & out slam a writer a a rule. And I'm not sure if the fault even lies with the author or the subcontractor hired to convert this book into an ebook. But this was the most ungrammatically converted ebook I've ever read. It is so bad that there were many moments where grammar, totally wrong words, and syntax errors almost made me close the book in disgust. It just goes on and on! Page after page, paragraph after paragraph, line after line! The errors distract from the reading so many times that you feel like YOU are are having to do the proof reading job rather than the reader's job of guessing which way the author plans next to take the story. It actually reads so badly that I wondered whether it was transcribed to English by someone who had no feeling whatsoever for the English language or it was simply stuffed into a computer by someone who read the text into a Voice-to-Type program and never looked back once they were finished reading it.

    Laughably Bad

There are scores of crimes against grammar and spelling in the prologue and first chapter alone. I strongly recommend this book to people who hate semicolons or want to have a good laugh.

    Get an editor!

This may be a good book but I couldn't get past page 50 because of the vast number of editting errors.

I doubt that this was even edited AT ALL!! jmm44

A 3rd grader could have edited this better than it was! But the story wasn't written for a 3rd grade kid.. story itself was all right but it didn't "flow" like it should have when the reader kept having to rewrite in his head what it "should have" said!!

To many written mistakes throws a person completely off track. I had to give up on this book as that part alone was too annoying

Good story but very poor editing and way tooooo many gramatical errors.

The above said it all. I really enjoyed the story line, it was good. Sometimes it was a little slow in places but still good. However, in regards to the grammer, spelling and editing, that is a totally different story. I am so glad that most books are not edited in this manner.

    Poor editing

I agree with the review just before me! I really enjoyed the book but had to read at least one sentence on each page over to understand. It made for hard reading. GET A GOOD EDITOR!

John the Senior Killer by Robert Waggoner

I thought that overall the book was good. It kept my interest and the author didnt give away the ending, adding a slight twist to it. I think that whoever reviewed the book and was in charge of editing it should go back to school.
The grammar was terrible which at times made it a little hard to read. I had to reread parts to understand what the author was saying. Other than that it was worth reading.

A truly great read, HOWEVER, must have a better proofreader and then another to check that one.

    No good.

Very seldom do I not finish a book. Page 61 was as far as I could go with this. There was nothing there to pique my interesr. I have no idea how the author lost me after chapter one. Will delete this one.
