Faith pleads for her friend and Pa relents, reluctantly. As they travel, Faith sews patches for a quilt that will tell the story of the trip. Josefina causes trouble, which is recorded in the quilt, but she also ends up earning her keep. 1989 (orig.

An Adorable and Life-Lesson Story for Young and Old Alike!

This is a heart-warming and touching story of a little girl's love and pride her in hen, Josefina. I don't want to give the story away, but it is a wonderful story for beginning readers, and for the young at heart, who love something so much that it becomes a part of them for always! This story has everything---love, hope, desperation, courage, history, and it even carries elements of surprise with Josefina along for the 'ride'! As a writer and a reading teacher, this book is a true treasure for any age! This would also make a wonderful gift for anyone,............everyone!!!
