Journal of an Emotional Extremist
The Journal of an Emotional Extremist By Jamez Draconis II

I'm Jamez Draconis II, and within these pages, you'll find a collection of poems I've written over the years. As someone living with bipolar 2 disorder, my emotions often swing to extremes, and being unmedicated, I've found solace in writing my feelings down. This collection is my way of navigating through the highs and lows of my emotional landscape.

Many of these poems were inspired by the incredible women who have touched my life. They were my muses, each holding a piece of my heart and sparking words that helped me describe the intensity of my feelings. Without their influence, without them I might never have discovered the power of poetry to articulate my inner world.

I hope that by sharing these raw and honest reflections, others who experience extreme emotions can find comfort and connection. It's okay to feel deeply, and it's not inherently bad to experience intense emotions. What's important is finding a way to manage those feelings that works for you. Perhaps through my journey, you'll find inspiration to carve your own path, one that no one else has taken.

In "The Journal of an Emotional Extremist," I invite you to join me in embracing the full spectrum of human emotion. Together, we can find solace in knowing that we're not alone, and that every feeling has its place in the tapestry of our lives.
