JournalStone's 2011 Warped Words: 90 Minutes to Live
Every story in this anthology has to have two common themes: a lock of hair and a timed demise. It was interesting to see how each author decided to incorporate these themes into their stories. All thirteen stories were interesting, although I found the ones with a science fiction slant the more captivating bunch of the book. One of the notable stories is "Dead Already" which is written by John La Rue. This story is set aboard a space craft that is found floating dead in space. I thought that the author really brought an interesting twist to the story and kept my interest especially regarding the timed demise.
Although I liked the science fiction stories better, the horror stories and paranormal stories were also well written. Overall there really are no complaints about this anthology. The stories were well chosen and will keep you on the edge of your seat!
