I'm sorry I recommend this to friends before I finished it. I really liked it at first. I could even imagine a movie somewhat like Inception meets Heaven can Wait, but then the alien thing weirded me out! I thought my nook skipped to a different book! What must my friends be thinking?????? I loved Street of Angels however! I would still try the author again.

So strange...not biblical, couldn't get past the first few chapters. Would not recommend.

It started out slow and rather confusing for me. I almost stopped reading it several times; however, following my BFF's reading rulethat you MUSTread at least 80 pages before throwing in the towel, it pulled me in. So glad that I kept reading. Turned out to be a very good story. Review by: Pamisue

Joe Derkacht has imagined a heaven that is at once amazing and still totally believable. I will be looking for more books by this author.

Not at all what I like to read. Only read enough to know that I did not like the way it was presented. Read it and see what you think.

One star is not low enough and free is not cheap enough. I should be paid for reading this book. The book is filled with page after page of bland descriptions. It seems meant to be inspiring, but it had the opposite effect on me. As a religious person, I found this book ridiculous. Human relationships were shallow and uncomplicated. I just hope that my guardian angel did not read this book. He/she/it would probably drop me on my head to knock some sense into it. Don't waste your time. Even free books can be costly. Horrid.
