Overview

From the Author:

This is a story of transformation - my transformation from childhood on a New Zealand dairy farm through all the inner struggles, rejections, denial, anger, pain and hurt to my acceptance, at last, of myself and my life. My struggle with life and living has at times been almost too much to handle. Yet always, when at the most critical time emotionally, I was pulled back from the brink as if some overlord could sense that I could not take any more. Each time I ...

Each time I broke through that emotional brick wall, I gained a new and increased understanding of life and myself. I can now at last laugh at myself for putting up such an incredible resistance to the changes that occurred. Yes, God, You really had a tough one in me. Thank you for not giving up.

Being a male, it was more difficult, I think, to accept that feelings are more important than thinking when it comes to looking at yourself. Many men have incredible difficulty in even recognizing their feelings, let alone following them. This Western society we live in has become so cerebral, so mind-dominant, that it is difficult indeed to break away and be free to feel, to come from the heart, to grow as a divine being, to realize that we all have a God given right to be free within ourselves and not be trapped by our emotions, the need for money and possessions, or even, life itself.

If, as a result of this book, just one person is able to break out of the shackles of inner struggle and realize and rejoice in their divine beingness, then all the effort will have been worthwhile. This is my story.

About the Author:

After beginning his professional career as a Metallurgical Engineer, Denie Hiestand spent twenty years of his life in the farming industry. It was at this point in his life that he became reluctantly aware of his spiritual nature, forcing him to become acquainted with such unfamiliar esoteric teachings as the healing arts. Initially starting out with a one room healing clinic, he is now the founder and Dean of the International Academy of Vibrational Medical Science, which has teaching facilities in the United States, Canada, New Zealand and Switzerland. He is an internationally published author, Vibrational Medicine specialist, teacher and healer, with qualifications in six different healing modalities. Denie's advanced healing techniques are based on the culmination of his life long experience and deep knowledge and understanding of the human body's electrical circuitry. Often referred to as the "Body Electrician", Denie strives to enlighten the medical community and humanity about the importance of the body's circuitry, its repair and maintenance, and the everlasting benefits of honoring your inner self. Recognized as one of the world's most powerful healers, he incorporates in his writing, lectures and courses a very deep understanding of how to live life to the fullest, to follow one's heart, to be in joy and be all you can be.

Editorial Reviews

Arlene Arnold
First there was Celestine Prophecy; then there was Conversations with God. Could Journey to Truth be the next book that grabs us deep within our own truth? It is an earthy, honest autobiographical story of one man's spiritual journey. From the human drama of life in New Zealand as a dairy farmer with all its financial, political and personal challenges to an awakening of the inner spirit of a powerful Christed Being, we are left with no choice but to see ourselves, both human and devine. Denie Hiestand has dared us to feel - to live - his awakening with him. It is believable. It is emotional. It is inspiring. If he had started at the end and told about the synchronistic, magical, astounding experiences he encountered, we would say "oh, I can see how that might happen to him, but that would never be possible for me." But, instead, Denie draws us into his life, allows us to experience his denial of the spiritual and then, step by step, to live the inevitable unfolding of his journey.

Issues Magazine
In the beginning, not knowing or understanding the dynamics of personal growth, Denie Hiestand's journey was fraught with incredible highs and lows. The passion of his words as he tells of that time life vividly portrays the struggle within, as he tried to understand what was happening. From NewZealand farmer to international healer and teacher, his turbulent journey affected all aspects of life. The synchronicities that brought the author each step along the way demonstrate the magic of letting go, trusting and going with the flow. Teachers would appear when necessary, events would put him in the appropriate place at the right time. The knowledge gained from his personal transformation has become the basis for a school founded by Denie and his partner Shelley, to give others the opportunity to learn about vibrational healing.

A true spiritual Journey to make you wonder.

Having met the author at an apartment building that I was working in, I came upon this book with an open mind and a vague knowldege of the author. After reading the second chapter I was engulfed in the book. It made me think about my life and how we as humans can and should be truthful to ourselves, even if we may not believe what we are experiencing. This is a book that will not only give you insight to the author, but to yourself as well.
