Overview

DID THE LOST CITY OF ATLANTIS REALLY EXIST? OR IS IT JUST A MYTH?

You are a highly experienced deep sea explorer. But you search for the lost continent of Atlantis is the trip of a lifetime. It will be the most challenging and dangerous mission of your career. Many unknowns will test your courage, abilities, strengths, and judgment. And you will be using newly designed equipment that's never been tested.

The cable attaching the Seeker to the ship Maray is extended to its limit. You have come to rest on a ledge near the canyon in the ocean floor that ancient myth says leads to the lost city of Atlantis.

You have an experimental diving suit designed to protect you from the intense pressure of the deep. You can also cut the Seeker loose and travel further.

As agreed, you signal the Maray: "All systems GO; it's awesome down here."

If you decide to explore the ledge where the Seeker has come to rest, turn to page 6. If you decide to cut loose from the Maray and dive with the Seeker into the canyon in the ocean floor, turn to page 5.

A giant attack squid, killer sharks, even an underwater earthquake keep you on your fins. Meanwhile you must make the choices necessary to go deeper, hoping one will lead you to your quarry: the mythical lost continent Atlantis!

The reader embarks on an expedition in an underwater vessel to find the lost city of Atlantis. By choosing specific pages, the reader determines the outcome of the plot.

    Great Book

I remember reading these books as a kid and now my 9 year old is reading them. They were great stories then and are still great books today. My 9 year old has spent hrs reading this and changing the story every time. He has since went back and read every possible adventure. He still takes this book on trips because he can read different stories and only have one book. I would highly recommend this book (and series) to anyone who likes adventure stories. This book and the rest in the series gives you multiple books for the price of one.

    I love these books!!!

I love the Choose Your Own Adventure Series as a kid and now as an Parent. This series is great!! This particular book Journey Under the Sea was one of the First chapter books I read by myself in the 5th Grade. I was captivated by being able to make choices in the book and decide my own ending. I have a complete set of all 184 books plus the Adventure of You series. I'm glad some of these titles are being rereleased because my kids have read a couple of my favorite so much they are falling apart.
