What People Are Saying

From the Publisher
"With tender grace, Debbie Martinez reveals God's loving presence in our personal trials. Infused with an unusual vulnerability, Joy in the Furnace, takes the participant on a journey that reveals hearts, struggles, and challenges. In the winding patch of life, when we struggle in the darkest tunnels, this study graciously unveils God's hope and healing in the midst of the pain. This book will sit between Hinds Feet on High Places and My Utmost for His Highest, on my shelf." Jeanette-Marie Mirich, Author, Marriage Counselor

This devotional was practical, encouraging, and challenging. The realistic look at trials, and being encouraged to face them and not deny them, gave me an opportunity to see God in bigger ways. The six principles shared by Debbie Martinez were made real as she shared her times of struggle, yet not forgotten, but strengthened by God until complete freedom came for her. It shows that when we face our trials, we have the freedom to embrace the grace and hand of God. I recommend this study for everyone, even if not currently facing hardships, it provides the lessons needed and the tools that will get you through when you do.
