“The Joy of Hobby Farming will guide you toward self-sufficiency and restore your faith in your own two hands, if you’d just start digging.”
The Daily Progress
“As the title of the book suggests, this is not a guide for those who want to become full-time, year-round farmers. It’s for those who want the ground they live on to nourish their bodies as well as their spirit.”
Erykah Badu
“Friends, check out this dope lifestyle book authored by one of our BaduWorld family members! An easy manual to healthy living... please spread the word. peace and light.”

“Detailed but never excessively so, and richly illustrated with color photos, the Levatinos' book is a useful manual for would-be hobby farmers and a world of entertainment for readers with a passion for going green or simply with fond recollections of farm life.”
North Jersey Record
“…in this book, they provide tips for everything from growing your own food to choosing the right blooms for your garden to running your farm as a business for additional revenue.”

Highly Recommended - not your typical how-to

What's so great about this book, besides the reasonable price for so much info and color, is the step-by-step color photos that show many farm tasks that no one ever illustrates. For instance, I've never seen in any book a demo of attaching a farm implement to a tractor. NO other book shows how to trim a donkey's hooves. Also, it provides a point-of-view and isn't just a dry, how-to book. It truly makes you feel like you can go out and farm. Anyone can do it. So read this book and get started.

    helpful

I did learn somethings that I did not know before, however its a little too political for me. I want more info without the opinions. If you enjoy that you will enjoy this book. I'm glad they did write the book though.
