Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher
". . . a fantastic collection of fun sox knitting project patterns . . . for completing a great pair of home-knitted sox. Color photos add to the appeal and the inspiration. . . . There are many additional tips and techniques for successful sox knitters, and fun comments in sidebars labeled 'Socktalk.' Here are patterns and instructions for 32 specially designed sock projects, one (or more) of which is sure to have lasting appeal. Grid patterns are clear and easy to read, while the witty narrative invites the novice would-be sock knitter to join a fab fun crafts group that contains many of its own rewards and perks. Sock patterns are presented by 28 talented designers, so the creative variety of patterns and projects is very high. The Joy of Sox is a pick-me-up for the confirmed craft knitter and an added impulse for the tempted beginner. All this plus it is a very fun, relaxing book to read.” —Midwest Book Review

This book is what I was looking for. I needed more challenges in the sock making category.

Very informative book. Just what I was looking for to add challenges to my day.

    The Joy of Sox

Illustrations are clear, colorful and motivational. Directions are complete. Yarn choices are varied, some higher-end in cost, with others more readily available and affordable.

The spiral bound format is quite convenient for knitters to prop the book open as we knit.

    I Also Recommend:

    Fabulous compilation of sock patterns!

I happened to see this book in the store & flipped through it, thinking it was one that I would like to have in my own library. I went home & decided I didn't want to wait. I went back the next day & bought the book, then CO for a pair of socks straight away. There are many different types of socks from lacy/fancy, to thigh-highs, to casual socks you can wear with your crocs. I highly recommend!
