If you're looking to lose weight or healthy-up your diet through natural means, Juicing For Beginners will set you in the right direction. I  liked the lists of fruits and veggies it gave and it named the precise vitamins of each, so I was able to tailor specific foods to my needs.  The book outlines the advantages of each kind of juicing machine for further personalization.

This simple introductory book on juicing is all you need to begin the process of juicing for health benefits, weight loss, and detoxification.  There are 100 recipes for vegetable and fruit juices, highlights of health benefits, and charts on the nutritional information of fruits and vegetables.  There are also fasts and cleanse directions in addition to information on juicers.  This book convinced me to try juicing!

It can help you determine the best juicer for your specific needs. Gives all the healthy info on every fruit, vegetables, and additives. Gives you information on juice fasting, as well as dieting and juicing together. My personal favorite is the multitude of tasty recipes. I am dieting, and this book has been a real boost for me. Absolutely love this book, it’s a great guide about the juicing process and nutrition, I totally loved the recipes, they are simple and effective. What I loved the most is the useful tips about producing juices quicker and  in a simple way. If you need help with weight loss, this is your book. It gives all what you need to know, you just need to implement it. A great book to keep.

It offers really easy to follow recipes, straightforward and practical advice on how juicing affects health and wellness, and a broad approach to the various nutrients and antioxidants found in fruits and vegetables. The highlight of this book is all the great recipes it has for juicing.  Vegetables, fruits, healthy additives--there are so many fun combinations.  This book also gives the basics of juicing, assuming you've never laid eyes on a juicer before.  There is also a section that touches on health problems and ailments; this part seems rather basic, but at least it serves as a motivator to get juicing.  Personally, I can't wait the try the "Purple Peach Parsley" juice!

I am so excited to find a way to add healthy fruits and veggies to my and my family’s diet. It’s not always easy to get your kids (or spouse) to get the recommended daily servings of fruits and vegetables, not to mention struggling with self discipline. It is bursting with recipes for both fruit based and vegetable based juices. The recipes are varied and are easy to swallow for those who like typical fruits/veggies or bold combinations for adventurous taste buds. I especially like that the specific health benefits for each fruit and vegetable is mentioned. Making this not only a great juicing recipe guide, but also an informed way to target your own health concerns. Cheers to your health!

Although the so-called “Western Diet” is put on trial in these pages (guilty on all counts!), the authors don’t demand that you radically change your lifestyle. They want you to try some juices and notice the difference for yourself.

I purchased this book because I wanted to try juicing and knew next to nothing about how to do it. If you are thinking of juicing, Juicing for Beginners is the ultimate how-to book for us newbies. How do you decide on a juicer? I had no idea, none until I read the pros and cons of each in this book. The best thing about this book is the long list of fruit juice recipes that actually taste great so you’re not trying to make it up as you go along. Loved the Coconut Cabana Juice!

Great reference for the beginning juicer and filled with enlightening information on the benefits of a healthier diet though juicing. I found several helpful tips on making juicing quicker and easier. I also though the section on juicers was valuable since it helps clarify which machine is best for certain produce. Handy charts, nutritional information, and a lot of tasty sounding recipes make this a book worthy of a space in the kitchen.

Purchasing Juicing for Beginners is one of the best decisions I’ve made in a long time. I’ve been using the recipes for almost two weeks now and I can’t even begin to tell you how much better I feel. After about a week of replacing juice for my typical morning breakfast of cold cereal and milk, I noticed I was far less sluggish in the morning so I started replacing my lunch with juice as well. I have far less headaches than I normally do, and have lost 5 pounds. I have to tell you, the recipes are delicious and so easy to make. I highly recommend this book for anyone who is looking to eat healthier, feel better, and/or lose weight.

This juicing book is informative with explanations of what types of beneficial nutrients each fruit and vegetable contains, along with what each one can do for the body. It explores not just vitamins, but also phytonutrients and other beneficial compounds that naturally occur in these foods. The chapters also review various health problems and ailments and how juicing may help ease them. More importantly though, the book is filled with unique, healthful juice recipes in a variety sure to please any palate. As for weight loss, the book does not promise a magic bullet for instant results. Instead it stresses juicing in moderation combined with healthy eating and exercise.
