Cherie Calbom, M.S., has been known for her work with juicing and health for more than a decade. She has appeared regularly on QVC for the past eight years with the JuiceLady juicer, the Salton Juiceman juicer, and the George Foreman grills. She is also the author of eleven books on health and nutrition.

I first purchased this book about 15 years ago and it is the book that really turned me on to juicing and about the only diet type book I have ever really followed. The content is laid out great in normal to understand language. The reccomendations for juicing is mostly of produce the average Joe would have actually heard of and be able to buy at any local grocery store vs. feeling like you have to travel to the continent where the 'weird' roots, herbs and other vegitation are grown. Many healthy diet type books just do not seem practical for me the suburban mom of three. After I began juicing regularily I could not believe how great I felt and I owe it all to this book.
This book has changed my life and encouraged me to start juicing daily twice a day. I used the receipes in this book for a fruit juice in the morning and Veggie juice in the evening. Plus, I eat two healthy meals a day. It's so simply and easy to follow. I am amazed since I started juicing how my health has improved. I am losing weight and I have more energy now. I love it! I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is considering juicing fresh fruit and veggies. My entire family juice now and we all live in separate households and each of us use this book!
