Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Char Ham
Again, Logan stretches the genre far beyond its musical boundaries, both as exploring hip hop territory in "Da Blues Hip Hop," and the album's theme as blues as cultural diversity. Thoughtful creative juices water the appetite with issues ranging from analyzing the conflicts in Washington, DC to redefining the adage, "look before you leap." Ever the witty lyricist, he weaves jazz idioms in "Dancing on the Edge of a Razorblade."

    This is a must have

John Juke Logan is already known as a great harmonica player for other people's records (just look at any blues album and you'll probably see his name--folks like Leon Russell, John Lee Hooker etc) so it's great that he's doing his own thing too! This record has a little bit of everything--it's one of those CDs that can stay in your player for a long time.
